Nice selection of coffee drinks. Inviting comfortable atmosphere. I like that they have both regular chairs and comfortable fabric chairs. Friendly staff.

Need to keep consistent hours they close at random times. Never had a problem with drinks. I think they have some of the best cold drinks for a coffee shop. Starbucks is slightly better for hot drinks. In side is nice and big. The customers inside are largest reason don't care for it. A lot of large tables taken up by one person. People try to be a hipster type and think this is their hidden neighborhood place that you need have a password to get in. Not direct problem with scooters just affect atmosphere and does not make you want to stay

Scooter's Coffee house on Western Avenue is my alternative to Starbucks. The atmosphere is extremely inviting and "warm." I like the decor. Wi-Fi is free but limited in terms of browsing capabilities. For example, gaming is blocked by the ISP (no Clash of Clans or World of Warcraft). However, if you are here for strictly work or school - there are plenty of outlets around. I haven't had a bad experience at Scooter's yet. The service is fast. I ordered tea a couple times and it usually comes with whipped cream. I have not had chai tea with whipped cream before. I noticed other drinks do have whipped cream in them too. If you don't want whipped cream in your drinks by default, be sure to say so!

I had a mocha, which tasted more like hot chocolate with a little coffee, vs coffee with chocolate. Good if you don't like much coffee flavor. Also ordered the sausage breakfast burrito. This was $3, but tasted like it was one of those 3 for $2 frozen burritos you get at the grocery store. I would have to say you get a better and cheaper mocha at McDonald's.

Meh. It's a convenient location for where I stay when I'm in town and the drinks are ok (if you like coffee drinks that don't taste like coffee, this is your spot). But if I go for coffee, I go to have a chat with a friend or read, and the main sitting room in the back is really loud. Like so loud I moved to a table by the entrance on a below zero day because there was no way I'd be able to hear my friend if we sat in the back.

The best on the go coffee in Sioux Falls EVER...many options including almond milk as an alternative to cows milk and soy. They have food/snacks here too that I have not tried but look tasty in the phots. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. Just ask for it extra hot!
